-TBG Peppermint Bubbles in the bedroom (24W hot plate, 2 cubes). This was a very light sweet minty scent. I wish the throw was stronger but it was really subtle.
-CFTKR Pina Colada in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is a good light-medium scent...a blend of pineapple and coconut however it has a certain note to it that I don´t like. Overall not a fave.
-HHS Granmas Zucchini in the kitchen (tea light). An awesome scent...a very creamy rich zucchini bread. I prefer it in blends but it´s great on its own nonetheless. It gave a good medium throw and lasted well through 5-6 hours.
-TBG Pistachio Cream Egg in the living room (2 cubes, tea light). This is the pistachio coconut fluff scent some vendors carry and it´s one of my favorite scents out there. However it is so strong (from any vendor) that it gives a slightly bitter taste (!!!) to the air. Super strong and long-lasting!
-JLCCW Serendipity Sugar Cookie Dough (2 pcs, 24W hot plate). Sweet crispy cookies and serendipity mingle ever so delightfully in this blend I came up with. It was awesome, strong and long-lasting. JLCCW is awesome but it is impossible to place any orders with her right now as she´s swamped until at least July =( Good that I still have a fair amount of her tarts here!
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Birthday Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). As always a fantastic blend with a strong throw and great lasting power. I am really sad Lil´Kitchen Candles closed for good but oh well =(
-HHS Jack Frost in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a good fresh peppermint scent with good throw and lasting power.
-CFTKR Farmhouse Treats in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is a mix of all things being prepared in a farmhouse kitchen (bread, cookies, jam, jelly etc.). This was an extremely light scent with a very weak throw. What I could smell was just a sweet scent without any dominant bakery notes. I somehow liked this but I would want it way stronger!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Orange Chiffon Cake in the kitchen (tea light). This had a very light throw and it was such a normal boring orange bakery scent anyway.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Sugar Cookie Dough Bread and Serendipity Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a good combination, a sweet bakery with a hint of serendipity. It was medium-strong and stayed really well.
-Front Porch Buttercream Drizzled Bread and Marshmallow Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). Another good blend...a creamy soft serendipity scent with a good throw and decent staying power.
-JLCCW Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (tea light). I used one cupcake and it gave off a light-medium throw. This is a very sweet serendipity but it´s not my fave from JLCCW.
-The Bathing Garden Frozen Hearts (2 cubes, 24W hot plate) in the bedroom. This was a light minty scent with a sweet note. I did like this but the throw was very light and overall it was rather meh.
-La Dolce Vita Spearmint Eucalyptus (last 4 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). I really enjoyed this crisp herbal scent of this tarts. The throw was good and the staying power as well.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Ice Cream Scoop Bread in the kitchen (both tarts, tea light). This was really good, a very sweet ICSB scent with good throw and lasting power.
-JLCCW Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (tea light). This is a very sweet Serendipity blend however the throw in the tea light warmer wasn´t really the greatest...IMO these do better in a 24W hot plate.
-HHS Serendipity Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). One of my favorite Serendipity blends. It´s sweet and creamy and gave a good throw using 2 of those humongous tarts =)
-CFTKR Sugar Milk and Cookies in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). This was another awesome scent. A sweet cookie with the sweet milk scent from CFTKR. This had a strong throw and great staying power!
The Serendipity Birthday Cake blend from Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in Wax (JLCCW) is probably my favorite blend ever. =O I ordered a bunch of it and almost used it up so this order was totally necessary! Right now her TAT is a bit longer (about 3 weeks) but still better than many other vendors.
Here is my haul:
-CFTKR Rosemary Mint in the bedroom (24W hot plate). I don´t know why I didn´t really care for this scent so far? It was awesome, herbal, refreshing and strong. I still think I like the Aveda Rosemary Mint type better (also from CFTKR) but this was great and I will reorder this !
-CFTKR Biolage (2 tarts, 24W hot plate) in the first floor. A good fresh shampoo scent but it is on the border of giving me a headache as there might be something slightly floral in it? Was strong and threw really well though
-TBG Green Tea & Cherry Blossom Kiwi in the kitchen (2 cubes, tealight). Another great fresh fruity scent from TBG. The cherry blossom note didn´t come through too much (thank God, I am not into cherry blossom scents at all) so overall this was great and a very unique typical TBG scent!
-JLCCW Serendipity Birthday Cake in the living room (2 cupcakes, 24W hot plate). As always this was absolutely fantastic and I can´t get enough of this stuff! Soft moist white cake smothered with sweet buttercream and blended with Serendipity. <3!!
-Front Porch Lemon Sugar Cookie Dough Bread (2 tarts, 24W hot plate) in the living room. This scent was awesome! Sweet lemon blended with FP´s famous SCDB! It was really strong and lasted all day long!
-Pics, Petals & Scents Cranberry Noel (a scoopable pie) in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a scent I am totally split about. On the one hand it was good on the other I didn´t like it lol. Anyway, it was pretty strong, a mix of a sweet yet tart cranberry (does that make any sense?) and peppermint. It lasted all day long until I replaced it at night.
-CFTKR Green Irish Tweed in the first floor (24W hot plate). I love this scent! It´s really strong, a fresh green men´s cologne kinda scent. It lasted till late night but started to smell a bit funky after about 10 hours into melting.
-The Bathing Garden Blueberry Cheesecake in the kitchen (2 cubes, tealight). This was a good combo of the sour cheesecake TBG is using for her blends and a sweet cooked blueberry scent. It was pretty strong and lasted through a whole 8-hour tealight.
-JLCCW Pink Zucchini Bread & Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (24W hot plate). I wasn´t a fan of this at all. The zucchini bread was the dominant note and it was rather spicy. The serendipity and pink sugar didn´t really come through. I replaced this after an hour as I just did not care for this scent at all.
-Front Porch Serendipity, Lemon Marshmallow & Amish Friendship Bread in the living room (24W hot plate). I had some of the heart-tart free-packs FP gave out with their orders for a short while so I decided to do my own blend. At first I used 2 hearts of each scent and when it started fizzling out I added the rest. This was an amazing strong blend, with the lemon marshmallow being the strongest note. Throw was great and lasting power was till late night with the refreshment in between.
Even though I wasn´t quite sure how much I liked JLCCW after my first haul I decided to place another order as I kept seeing raves and she had couple of new scents I really wanted to try. Her tarts are pretty inexpensive and her TAT is quite good (running a bit behind these days though due to a delayed wax shipment) so I decided to place an order for her 48 cupcake set. I picked really good scents and most of them are really super strong and last for long times. Jen really doesn´t skimp on the fragrance oils!
My absolute favorite is Serendipity Birthday Cake, I am really addicted to this combo! AWESOME!!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Sinus Relief in the bedroom (24W hot plate). One of my go-to scents, it´s fresh, strong and just awesome for the bedroom! Love it!
-Streetman Candles Spring´s Summer Fling in the first floor (24W hot plate). I really enjoyed this fresh fruity citrus scent. It was pretty strong and lasted through most of the day!
-The Bathing Garden Raspberry Lemonade (2 cubes, tealight) in the kitchen. Awesome as always! TBG is just a wonderful tart brand! This was a fresh fizzy lemon paired with a tart raspberry scent. Strong throw and great lasting power!!
-JLCCW Pink Serendipity in the livinng room (2 cupcakes, 24W hot plate). While this was an amazing scent the throw wasn´t as good as with her Serendipity Birthday Cake. This was a great scent still though so I really enjoyed it!
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Birthday Fruit Loops (2 cubes) in the living room (24W hot plate). I love this scent, it´s so wonderful! I am just addicted to anything with birthday cake as it´s the best blender of all! Was pretty strong and lasted well!
-Kissing Booth Skating Rink in the bedroom (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). A good standard peppermint scent with a hint of sweetness. This was good and lasted pretty much through the day.
-CFTKR Sage & Citrus in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was a great spa-type scent with great throw and staying power. Really liked that one!
-The Bathing Garden Black Velvet Cake in the kitchen (tealight), This was so good on cold throw, raspberry, cake and a bit of chocolate (and her choco is really good) but hot it was just ok, not bad but not good either. Had a good throw and lasted through a whole 8-hour tealight.
-Butterfly Lane Scents Marshmallow Birthday Cake in the living room (3 slices, 24W hot plate). This smelled really good but it was a bit light. =( I am just addicted to birthday cake scents so I enjoyed this one.
-JLCCW Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). This was a good serendipity blend and I got a bit more of the cherry in this one. I think it also contains some kinda cake or something. Anyway, good but the throw could have been a bit stronger for using 2 tarts. Still really great stuff!
Sorry if I am not that regular in the daily wax melts these days...I do melt every day but I am trying to use up some stuff (like clamshells with 2 cubes left, samples and the likes) and I am not keeping track of those.
-Front Porch Vanilla Noel in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a really nice sweet creamy vanilla caramel scent, very similar to the original from B&BW. Throw was good for my bedroom, I think for a bigger room it might be too soft. All in all an awesome bedroom scent!
-K´s Kreations Green Tea & Lemongrass in the first floor (24W hot plate, 3 gingerbread men). I liked this fresh herbal tea scent a lot but it was a just about light-medium strength. Will use 4 tarts next time to have a better throw.
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Café Orange Latte in the kitchen (tealight). This was really gross and I poured it out within 15 minutes. It smelled like a nutty popcorn or something. No orange? No coffee? Yuck and double yuck!
-Haley´s Heavenly Scents Granmas Iced Lemon Biscotti in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). Pure bliss! Awesome and amazing! lol! Sweet lemon bakery scent paired with granmas zuke bread, super strong and lasted all day. Love it!
-JLCCW Coffee Cake & Spice in the living room (24W hot plate). This was totally fantastic as well! I am not into spice as you might know but this sweet cinnamon bakery scent was just divine. There is no coffee note in this btw, just super strong sweet cinnamon cake. Lasted till the end and was a super strong thrower.
-JLCCW Avalon in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a mix of a green scent with vanilla bean noel. On cold sniff this was pretty good but when hot it was just too strong and headache-inducing. I still somehow liked this scent but might have to use it in an open area next time where it will be more diluted or cut a cupcake in half.
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Junk in Your Trunk in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was so meh...a sweet non-descript scent with a certain note many of GKC bakery scents seems to contain. I think she just fresh scents best. Was medium strong and lasted till i was sick of it and poured it out.
-TBG Lemon Curd & Rose Milk in the kitchen (tealight, 2 cubes). I really love this scent! The tarts lemon blends so nicely with the creamy rose scent so this is not in any way an overpowering floral note. It´s more of a food-y rose if that makes sense lol. Strong and great lasting power.
-Front Porch Marshmallow Funnel Cake (3 pcs) in the living room (24W hot plate). I had this for a long time (over 6 months for sure) and I wanted to have this done so I used all 3 tarts (also coz it didn´t smell that strong however it never did). This was so nice, a soft sweet creamy scent that lingered in the background but still was present all the time. Lovely!
-Butterfly Lane Scents Serendipity Cake (2 slices) in the living room (24W hot plate). A good serendipity blend but it was a bit lighter than I liked. Most BL scents are stronger than this though!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Flaky Friends in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This initially smelled nice (like a fresh peppermint) but after a while it was somehow gross. Throw was pretty good but staying power not as the scent morphed so badly.
-Ten Digit Creations Summer Fresh in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was awesome! A fresh fruity laundry scent with amazing throw and lasting power!
-TBG Raspberry Coconut Mousse in the kitchen (tealight, 2 cubes). TBG has really good raspberry scents and this is a creamy raspberry with a hint of coconut. It was strong and lasted through a whole 8-hour tealight!
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in Wax (now JLCCW) Serendipity Birthday Cake in the living room (24W hot plate). Now this scent was a revelation! I think Serendipity Birthday Cake is my current top favorite scent. I first used one cupcake and it was strong and great and after 4-5 hours I added another one and it was kick-butt strong. AMAZING and I already ordered a big bunch more of this heavenly scent!
-Haley´s Heavenly Scents Pink Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). This was awesome, too, but not as strong as the JLCCW but it blended in nicely. <3
-SMT Peppermint Candy Cane Noel in the bedroom (24W hot plate). I enjoyed this fresh peppermint vanilla scent a lot! It had good intensity and throw!
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in Wax in Berry Cream Brulée in the 2nd floor (tealight). There is just something about JLCCW´s cream brulée that I don´t like. And the throw was very light, too.
-K´s Kreations Baby Girl (3 little snowmen) in the first floor (25W lightbulb). This was a medium strong blend of baby powder and pink sugar (and I think some other secret ingredients as listed on her page). I love this scent, it´s beautiful! A super sweet baby powder, not the fresh kinda style. Really good and lasted through most of the day, too!
-Ten Digit Creations Toasted Almond Butter Cookies in the kitchen (tealight). This was a good almond bakery scent however the throw was next to nonexistent. A pity as it smelled delicious in the package!
-Lasting Scent Candles French Vanilla Latte in the living room (24W hot plate). A sweet pretty strong coffee blend. Lasted decently (maybe 6 hours?). This was a really good one!
-Front Porch Serendipity Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). This smelled so good but it was so light when warmed! I got the vanilla bean noel as well as the serendipity scents but only if I was really close to the warmer =(
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in Wax in Cotton Candy in the bedroom (24W hot plate). A really nice sweet cotton candy scent. It was light-medium and I could smell it until I changed to a peppermint scent to sleep at night.
-Kissing Booth Tough Cookie (2 cubes, tealight) in the 2nd floor. Zero throw, ´nuff said.
-FussAssMcGee Snowflake (2 cubes) in the first floor (25W lightbulb). This one was super strong and super horrible. I hated this scent. It was fresh but it had a note to it that turned my stomach...even my daughter complained that it was the grossest scent ever lol. This didn´t survive in the warmer for long lol
-Country Home Scent Warm Orange Danish in the kitchen (tealight). This had almost no scent to it at all. I gave up on CHS and tossed the last tarts I had. Time to move on, this vendor is gone anyways.
-CFTKR Caramel Velvet Crunch in the living room (24W hot plate). I don´t know, I think many of CFTKR´s caramel scents are not computing with my nose.... they tend to have this sickening gross burnt wax smell after a short time. I put away most of her caramels in a box and don´t plan on using them again. She has too many other great blends to waste my time on the bad ones.
-Lasting Scent Candles Amaretto Panettone Bread in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a good sweet almond bakery scent but it was neither strong nor really lasting. I think I replaced the 2 in the living room after a short while but I can´t remember with what.
-The Bathing Garden Frosted Marshmallow (2 cubes) in the bedroom (24W hot plate). I had this scent for such a long time I finally decided to melt it. I was hesitant because it is so very light on cold sniff however when I melted it I was deeply impressed! This is a sweet soft fluffy sugared marshmallow scent and it was awesome and made me sleep so well lol! (took a nap in the morning). Stayed strong till the night! Love it!!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Hawaiian Ginger in the 2nd floor (tealight). A fresh sweet and slightly floral scent that was really good and strong. I enjoyed this a lot!
-Kristin´s Kandles Pink Sugar Fresh Linen in the 1st floor (a big hand full, 25W lightbulb). The blend of a soft laundry scent and really sweet pink sugar is really good but the strength isn´t great. This is a pretty old bag of chunks though as I can tell from the label and the fact that I got it from a destash package.
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in Wax in Turtle Brownie in the kitchen (tealight). I am not usually a fan of chocolate scents but this was really good. It was sweet, gooey, super strong and lasted all day long. Awesome!
-Frostings Candy Cane Creamies in the living room (24W hot plate). This smelled sweet, I even felt I got a slight serendipity note from this? It wasn´t so strong and there was no mint that I could detect in the scent so it´s not something I would order again.
-Lasting Scent Candles Pink Cherry Crunch in the living room (24W hot plate). this was a really weak scent I got barely any throw from this. I think I replaced the 2 living room melts by midday.
-OMG Candles Pink Sugar Buttermint in the bedroom (24W hot plate). I just love this scent, it´s one of my favorite peppermint scents. However this was very weak. I got this in a destash box and I feel that these tarts might be older so I ended up popping all 5 in over time as the scent was not nearly as strong as I like it. A pity but I might see if I can order this again as a fresh batch might perform better.
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in Wax in Vanilla Pear in the 2nd floor (tealight). I got a light sweet creamy pear note. I am not a fan of pear scents though so I didn´t relight the tealight after 4 hours.
-The Bathing Garden Lemon Cheesecake (last 2 cubes) in the first floor (25W lightbulb). I got barely any throw even though this was such a delicious scent on cold sniff. I ordered another of this to see if it might be stronger.
-The Bathing Garden Tea Cake in the kitchen (tealight). I was in a tea mood so I melted 3 tea scents in the ground floor. This was a very sweet almond cake and tea scent and it was almost a bit sickening as it was really sweet but nonetheless it was a good strong scent. I used 2 cubes.
-Iced Tea and Lemon in the living room (24W hot plate). A sweetened black tea with lemon scent that was pretty strong and long-lasting. I really liked this a lot!
-CFTKR Tea & Cake in the living room (24W hot plate). This was another strong super sweet tea scent with a bakery note. It was similar to the TBG one but didn´t have as much of that almond note. Good throw and decent lasting power.
-VDC Pink Sugared Delights in the bedroom (24W hot plate). I used 2 and got a very disgusting kind of scent lol. It was gross albeit not strong so I poured this out after about an hour and used Granny´s Kountry Candles Bedtime Bath which was awesome as always!
-Country Home Scent Christmas Hearth in the first floor (in my new 25W light bulb snowman warmer from Scentsationals). This was a very strong tart, it smelled really like a christmas garland but my husband hated the scent lol. Anyway, it lasted all day long and was super strong =P
-The Bathing Garden Flowers & Frost (2 cubes) in my kitchen (tealight). I hated this scent, a sweet floral =X It was strong and long-lasting as to be expected from a scent I dislike hehe!
-CFTKR Sugar Cookie Latte in my living room (24W hot plate). This smelled like a caramel latte to me. I didn´t get the cookie scent but a caramel note. It was pretty good and lasted well through the day with a medium-strong throw.
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in wax Gourmet Sugar Cookie in the living room (24W hot plate). I couldn´t smell this at all. I mean there was NO throw whatsoever.
-VDC Early Morning Sunrise Cake in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was an awesome scent. It was strong and lasted all day long. It was a fresh and fruity bakery scent.
-TBG Faun´s Path (2 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was a slightly sweet woodsy Xmas scent and I liked it however it had a weird undertone to it that started to get on my nerves after a while. As for staying power and strength this was fab as to be expected by TBG.
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery & Confections in Wax Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee in the kitchen (tealight). I couldn´t smell this at all as it had absolutely no throw!
-Scentsationals Night Before Christmas (2 cubes) in the living room (24W hot plate). I loved this scent a lot! It was strong and slightly fruity (like cider) and still had a fresh note (pine?) to it. Awesome! Lasted all day long, too!
-Lasting Scent Candles Holiday in The Park (24W hot plate) in the living room. Another Xmas scent I truly enjoyed. It smelled also a bit like christmas tree but sweeter! Scent throw and intensity were awesome, too!
-CFTKR Green Clover & Aloe in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This smelled like any aloe body lotion. I wonder if the plant smells the same or if it´s just what we imagine aloe smells like due to all the lotions bearing this kind of scent! Anyway, this was a pleasant bedroom scent and it lasted well through the day!
-Scentsationals Lemongrass Ginger Tea in the 1st floor (3 cubes, 24W hot plate). I wanted to finish up this old-style packaging as I got a few backups in the new style (yea, shallow reason). Anyway, this is one of my absolute favorites from Scentsationals, it´s such a pretty soft spa like lemongrass tea scent, thankfully with just a touch of ginger. Amazing! 3 cubes of course were really strong and lasted all day long. 1 cube of these is never enough in my experience since it´s a softer kind of scent.
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery Island Mango in the kitchen (tealight). This was a nice tropical fruity scent with a creamy touch. I could definitely smell this during most of the day!
-TBG Pumpkin Apple Strudel (2 cubes) in the living room (24W hot plate). Being neither big into pumpkin nor apple I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this scent. There was even a bit of cinnamon in it and it did not overwhelm! A very gorgeous soft apple cinnamon scent with a hint of pumpkin!
-Lasting Scent Candles Serendipity Scone in the living room (24W hot plate). I didn´t even remember ordering this but when I was browsing my LSC stash (I am very OCD with my organization....sorted by vendor, then type e.g. clamshells, cups etc., then color lol) I found this and had to melt it yesterday. It is a yummy creamy serendipity scent, there isn´t much scone in it. I really loved this...for those who are not familiar with serendipity: it´s a blend of cherry, vanilla, confectioners sugar and coconut. The coconut came out by the end of the day, before that I got the super sweet creamy cherry scent!
-CFTKR Pink Sugared Peppermint in the bedroom (24W hot plate). Carol has one of the sweetest most awesome pink sugar peppermint scents. This was really yummy, but it was a pretty soft scent and had just average staying power!
-Better Homes & Gardens Snowy Evergreen Forest (2 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). I didn´t enjoy this scent at all. It smelled like a pretty pine fir kinda scent at first but it got a funky note over time so it caused me a bad headache. Granted I poured this out and replaced it with something fresh.
-TBG Carrot Cake in the kitchen (2 cubes, tealight). This was a pretty not overly spicy carrot cake scent. I really liked this and it had a medium throw and good staying power (through one 8-hour tealight).
-Cupcake Candles Mrs Santa Claus Cookie in the living room (24W hot plate). This was very light and I didn´t get a cookie note, to me this smelled *exactly* like Vanilla Bean Noel from BBW! I mean exactly! I liked it but it was light!
-Jaimie Lauren Cupcakery Sugar Cookie Brulée in the living room (24W hot plate). I didn´t get much scent out of this one, I think the creme brulee scent is light as it is though!
