Daily wax melts March 22nd 2013

-Heavenleigh Apothecary Pink Sugar Vanilla Bean Noel in the bedroom (ended up being the whole clamshell, 24W hot plate). I first put 2 cubes and got nothing, added 2 more and the scent was light and after 2 more it was decent. The blend was really nice but it was just way too weak.

-CFTKR Floridian Dreams in the first floor (24W hot plate). I truly enjoyed this medium strong tropical citrus blend. Lasted really well but started to smell really off when the scent was gone (after about 6-7 hours).

-Ollie´s Soaps Neapolitan Ice Cream in the kitchen (tea light, 3-4 scoops). This was super strong and wafted through my whole house. It smelled so authentic! I could smell the soft ice-cream-drenched wafer with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream scoops. Awesome!

-Front Porch Serendipity Cupcakes (2 tarts) in the living room (24W hot plate). This had almost no throw which was a shame as it was soooo delicious on cold throw and I actually had requested the scent for a while. =/

-Beaux Savons Frais Serendipity, Ice Cream Scoop Bread and Loopy Lemon Cream Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a good scent..the Loopy Lemon Cream Noel was pretty non-existent in the blend as it was such a tiny sample tart but the ice cream scoop bread serendipity smelled awesome. Medium throw and good lasting power.

  2. Wow - I've only recently discovered wax melts and just love them, was wishing for a great review blog... such beautiful products!
I must be jaded or something - I always want them to be stronger. Which labels should I check out for the very strongest throw? Is there a connection between how long they last and strength of throw?
Thanks so much for this very pretty blog.

  3. The strongest tarts IMO are from Front Porch, Candles from the Keeping Room, The Bathing Garden (esp. nice in a tea light burner), Haley´s Heavenly Scents.
