Daily wax melts February 13th 2013

-Pics, Petals & Scents Aromatherapy Relaxation (2 sticks) in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a great relaxing lavender blend with a strong throw and great lasting power till late night and probably beyond. 

-Granny´s Kountry Candles Citrus Linen H2O in the first floor (24W hot plate). I think this was my favorite scent of the day and one of the best I ever tried from Granny´s. A super strong, super lasting fresh citrus laundry scent. It was beyond amazing. I need to check with Wendy if she has more of this stuff!!

-The Bathing Garden Vintage Circus in the kitchen (tealight, 2 cubes). I recently got this scent as I never tried it before except in scrub form and I kinda liked it. However I am not a fan of this scent in wax at all. It´s a mix of blue cotton candy and the BBW type Winter Candy Apple which is a very perfumey soapy apple scent. I don´t like the body care and I didn´t like it in wax form either. The throw was strong and it lasted well but just not something I can see myself reaching for in the future.

-CFTKR Caramel Sticky Buns (2 tarts) in the living room (24W hot plate). A very good sweet bakery scent with a cornbread-note in my opinion. Lasted many hours and was really strong.

-Butterfly Lane Lemon Bread (3 big slices) in the living room (24W hot plate). This was really weak and it had a weird undertone to it. Not digging this.

Small Lil´Kitchen Candles haul

Lil´ Kitchen Candles has become one of my favorite vendor, especially for her Serendipity blends. I placed 2 orders in her past 2 re-openings. I was a bit late for the first time around so I  only scored a couple of items but I did better in the 2nd one (I was the first order placed lol...will post about it soon).
I got 3 monster clamshells and a loaf (so pretty!) and even got a few extra scent shots. Everything smells absolutely AMAZING =D

Daily wax melts February 12th 2013

-CFTKR Burnt Cream in the bedroom (24W hot plate). I just don´t care so much for this scent. It was a chocolatey note and something burnt about it (hence the name I guess lol) and I am just not a fan. It was strong though and lasted until I poured it out to replace it with something enjoyable.

-LSC Pink Sheets in the first floor (24W hot plate). I got only a light throw and what I smelled was really perfumy. I didn´t leave this in the warmer for long as I just didn´t like it.

-TBG Vanilla Layered Strawberry Kiwi (2 cubes, tealight) in the kitchen. This was really awesome! A nice sweet fruity blend. It was strong and lasted well. I just love TBG´s fruity scents, they are generally the best!

-Butterfly Lane Zucchini Cupcakes in the living room (24W hot plate). This wasn´t really strong, I couldn´t smell much except for the occasional whiff of zucchini bread. A bit of a disappointment.

-Front Porch Orange Marmalade Marshmallow in the living room (24W hot plate). This one was good and pretty strong. A nice sweet fluffy orange scent. Didn´t last longer than 4-5 hours though.

Butterfly Lane RTS order

Butterfly Lane´s owner Melissa recently reopened her shop for a short while offering only RTS scent shot cupsl I couldn´t resist picking up a bunch as there were some really awesome scents up for grabs.
Shipping was super quick as expected with RTS and I got my order just a few days later. I even got 2 extra cups for free which was really generous.
Everything smells awesome!
