Daily wax melts November 2nd 2012

No daily wax melts video from Nov 1st as I wasn´t home most of the day so didn´t get to melt anything. In my bedroom I had my Tiffany Candles wooden wick in lavender vanilla/creamy vanilla going on.

So yesterday, November 2nd I melted the following:
-Sniff My Tarts Butter Cookie Noel (half chunk) in my bedroom (24W hot plate). My first ever SMT tart I ever melted, I just got it in a destash package I want to post about next. This was amazing! A strong vanilla bean noel scent with a buttery cookie note. This lasted all day long and filled my bedroom with awesome scent.

-CFTKR Lime Lifesavers in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was a super strong sweet lime scent with a fabulous throw and great lasting power. 

-Krazy Candle Hawaiian Breeze in my kitchen (tealight). I didn´t care for this scent, it was a light-medium floral scent lasting about half of the day (4 hours maybe).

-Sugar & Spice Gourmet Soy Candles in Cider Donut in the living room (tealight). This had no scent throw which is weird as S&S is usually really strong. This was from a destash though so it might have been a bit older (though I don´t think so, her destash package was pretty amazing!).

-Bella Candles & Tarts Buttermilk Biscuit w/ Strawberry Jam in my living room (24W hot plate). This was simply awesome! A super sweet creamy strawberry with a light bakery note. Smelled really strong and lasted all day long. Amazing!

Daily wax melts October 1st 2012

I started my melters pretty late and wasn´t really content with my choices except for one tart:

-Aunt Nena´s Green Apple Explosion in the 20W hot plate warmer in the first floor. I am not having the best luck with Aunt Nena´s. A few tarts were good but the majority has no throw. Just like this one! I got no scent out of this!

-Sugar & Spice Gourmet Blueberry Cobbler in the kitchen in a tealight warmer. I didn´t care for this slightly fruity scent, it was a bit sweet and just blah. Throw was ok though I think S&SG should be melted in a hot plate!

-Three Sisters Soap Autumn Afternoon in my 24W hot plate in the living room. Now this was the one tart I really loved (I knew I love it though as it wasn´t the first time melting one of these). It´s a really good fall scent, slightly crisp and not spicy. I really love the scent and the embedded dried fruits and leaves look pretty in the molten wax!

-Lasting Scent Candles Pink Marshmallow Shortbread in my Whoot warmer in the living room. This had zero throw though I want to blame it on the warmer which just doesn´t seem to work well with anything except for scentsy (and even those I prefer them in one of my handmade bunny bulb warmers!). The scent is gorgeous! A gooey smooth marshmallow bakery scent!

Daily wax melts September 17th 2012

-Front Porch Peppermint Ice Cream in the first floor in my 20W hot plate warmer. This was a beautiful sweet minty scent with a decent scent throw and good staying power. Really liked that one!

-Sugar & Spice Gourmet In Mango Peach Salsa in my tealight warmer in the kitchen. This was just friggin awesome! Like one of the best tarts ever! It was super strong, sweet and fruity and it lasted all day long. Really exceptional performance!

-Country Home Scent Autumn Leaves in my 24W hot plate melter in the living room. Albeit this didn't have a super strong scent throw the scent was there and it seemed to linger all day long. This was an appley slightly spicy scent like lots of those autumn scents out there.

Oh and in my light bulb warmer in the. bedroom I melted 2 cubes of FussAssMcGee Nighty Night which had an awesome throw and smelled very nicely of lavender. Lasted all day into the night, too! I hated FussAssMcGee in the beginning but their tarts just need curing time and either a 24W hot plate or 25W light bulb!

Daily wax melts September 5th 2012

The lovely early fall weather is still going on though supposedly we'll enjoy some rain the next days.

-Sugar & Spice Gourmet Raspberry Zucchini Bread in my 20W warmer in the 1st floor. Very yummy and strong scent. Super long-lasting, too! I wish the label was prettier though =P

-Country Home Scent Cozy Kitchen in a tealight warmer in my kitchen. I am falling out of love with CHS. Generally the scents are a bit weak and/or with only short staying power. This was a nice warm honey/cinnamon scent though subtle and fizzled out within a few hours.

-Front Porch Smoochin' By The Fire in my 24W hot plate in the living room.
As expected super strong and long-lasting. A woody smokey scent with sweet notes. A perfect autumn scent!

Daily wax melts August 29th 2012

A super hot day again =( I wish the fall weather would just stay as is but the hot days are supposed to be ending within the next days.

-Better Homes & Gardens Tranquil Garden Spa 2 cubes on a 20W hot plate in the first floor. A nice fresh yet soft scent with a cucumber note. Average lasting power only though.

-The Bathing Garden Coconut Candy Apple, 2 cubes in a tealight warmer in my kitchen. Good throw and a really good sweet mellowed out version of BBW's Winter Candy Apple. Good medium-strong throw and a great longevity.

-Sugar & Spice Gourmet Berry Bundt Noel. A vanilla-berry blend with a slight bakery with a good scent throw however the scent itself turned into a very weird cinnamon vanilla cookie scent I don't care for.
