-TBG Peppermint Bubbles in the bedroom (24W hot plate, 2 cubes). This was a very light sweet minty scent. I wish the throw was stronger but it was really subtle.
-CFTKR Pina Colada in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is a good light-medium scent...a blend of pineapple and coconut however it has a certain note to it that I don´t like. Overall not a fave.
-HHS Granmas Zucchini in the kitchen (tea light). An awesome scent...a very creamy rich zucchini bread. I prefer it in blends but it´s great on its own nonetheless. It gave a good medium throw and lasted well through 5-6 hours.
-TBG Pistachio Cream Egg in the living room (2 cubes, tea light). This is the pistachio coconut fluff scent some vendors carry and it´s one of my favorite scents out there. However it is so strong (from any vendor) that it gives a slightly bitter taste (!!!) to the air. Super strong and long-lasting!
-JLCCW Serendipity Sugar Cookie Dough (2 pcs, 24W hot plate). Sweet crispy cookies and serendipity mingle ever so delightfully in this blend I came up with. It was awesome, strong and long-lasting. JLCCW is awesome but it is impossible to place any orders with her right now as she´s swamped until at least July =( Good that I still have a fair amount of her tarts here!
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Birthday Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). As always a fantastic blend with a strong throw and great lasting power. I am really sad Lil´Kitchen Candles closed for good but oh well =(
HHS has quickly become one of my top favorite vendors. Her tarts come in an amazing variety of scents and blends, you can pick cute shapes, TAT is very considerable and her prices are affordable. The scent throw is great-amazing on the majority of her tarts and her granma blends (a very creamy zucchini bread) are the best and something I constantly seem to reach for.

-Granny´s Kountry Candles Rosemary in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was one of the most amazing herbal scents I have used in a long time. It was fresh, invigorating and strong without being overpowering. I totally loved this tart and got a bunch more tarts in this scent. Highly recommended (in the summer 2013 section in her shop - I might want to add that the new bunch I got smells slightly different cold)
-CFTKR Hey Sugar in the first floor (24W hot plate). I love this scent! It´s sweet and citrusy without any kind of pungent note to it. I got a big bag in this recently and just love this scent! It was medium strong and lasted well through 5-6 hours.
-BSF Captain Crunch Berries Cereal Type in the kitchen (tea light, 2 tarts). This was a good berry scent however it has a note to it I don´t quite like so overall I am a bit split about this scent. Throw was impeccable and lasting power as well.
-TBG Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies in the living room (2 cubes, tea light). This was really good. I think that this is the usual perfumey BJBC scent mixed with her more tart blackberry jam, at least that´s how it smells to me as the perfume note is not strong and there is a tart note that smells familiar to me from TBG. Anyway, this was great, threw strong and lasted pretty much through most of the day.
-I Heart Wax Serendipity Marshmallow in the living room (24W hot plate, 2 tarts). I think I didn´t post all my hauls from this new vendor yet...oh my! Will do so today! Her tarts are awesome! They are quite a bit bigger than FP but they are less than $3 per 4-pack I believe (that´s if she didn´t raise her prices). I was one of her first customers and I have returned a few times as her tarts are strong and awesome! Serendipity Marshmallow was amazing! Strong, sweet and gooey. I love this scent and have repurchased it in multiples already!
-HHS Granmas Sweet Zucchini Cakes in the living room (24W hot plate, 3 paws). I don´t think I picked up a specific cake note but this was just an awesome sweet granmas zuke bread blend. It smelled wonderful and lasted all day long! Love it!
-Front Porch Pink Coconut Cream in the bedroom (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). I just didn´t care for this scent at all. It had that weird greasy undertone some FP bakery tarts tend to have and that really throws me off. 2 tarts gave a medium strong throw and lasted till I poured them out lol
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Black Jellybean Thief in the first floor (24W hot plate). This smelled so good cold, like a sweetened up licorice scent. It did have a light throw though (I didn´t give it any cure time at all though). Overall a good scent, I hope the other pcs I got have more throw.
-The Bathing Garden Pink Bunny Ears in the kitchen (2 cubes, tea light). This is a blend of serendipity and coconut cream pie. It smells yummy cold but I got a very light throw only and normally TBG are great in a tea light warmer. I will let this cure for a longer while though, maybe it will improve after all
-Heavenleigh Apothecary Serendipity Funnel Cake in the living room (24W hot plate). This scent is awesome! The funnel cake has that creamy cinnamon note that I actually like and the serendipity adds a yummy decadent note. This was really strong and lasted all day long (the cinnamon started to overpower the serendipity after 5-6 hours though).
-Haley´s Heavenly Scents Granmas Amish Zucchini in the living room (about 2 grubby hearts) in a tea light warmer. Awesome, amazing, fantastic! I love the Granmas blends, they are so delicious! This one had that sweet almond raisin note that you can find in most AFB scents. Strong throw, great lasting power. HHS just is an awesome vendor IMO
-Sassy Girl Aroma Her Day (whole huge chunk) in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a great scent, a blend of pink sugar and birthday cake. I got a good strong throw and wonderful lasting power out of this chunk. SGA has awesome tarts and I wlll definitely order again, soon!
-HHS Jack Frost in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a good fresh peppermint scent with good throw and lasting power.
-CFTKR Farmhouse Treats in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is a mix of all things being prepared in a farmhouse kitchen (bread, cookies, jam, jelly etc.). This was an extremely light scent with a very weak throw. What I could smell was just a sweet scent without any dominant bakery notes. I somehow liked this but I would want it way stronger!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Orange Chiffon Cake in the kitchen (tea light). This had a very light throw and it was such a normal boring orange bakery scent anyway.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Sugar Cookie Dough Bread and Serendipity Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a good combination, a sweet bakery with a hint of serendipity. It was medium-strong and stayed really well.
-Front Porch Buttercream Drizzled Bread and Marshmallow Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). Another good blend...a creamy soft serendipity scent with a good throw and decent staying power.
-JLCCW Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (tea light). I used one cupcake and it gave off a light-medium throw. This is a very sweet serendipity but it´s not my fave from JLCCW.
-The Bathing Garden Frozen Hearts (2 cubes, 24W hot plate) in the bedroom. This was a light minty scent with a sweet note. I did like this but the throw was very light and overall it was rather meh.
-La Dolce Vita Spearmint Eucalyptus (last 4 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). I really enjoyed this crisp herbal scent of this tarts. The throw was good and the staying power as well.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Ice Cream Scoop Bread in the kitchen (both tarts, tea light). This was really good, a very sweet ICSB scent with good throw and lasting power.
-JLCCW Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (tea light). This is a very sweet Serendipity blend however the throw in the tea light warmer wasn´t really the greatest...IMO these do better in a 24W hot plate.
-HHS Serendipity Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). One of my favorite Serendipity blends. It´s sweet and creamy and gave a good throw using 2 of those humongous tarts =)
-CFTKR Sugar Milk and Cookies in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). This was another awesome scent. A sweet cookie with the sweet milk scent from CFTKR. This had a strong throw and great staying power!
-Front Porch Vanilla Grapefruit in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a nice tart and bitter grapefruit scent paired with creamy vanilla so it was a great bedroom scent. Throw wasn´t that strong though. I prefer BSF´s Grapefruit Peppermint as to me it is more refreshing.
-Lasting Scent Candles Sweet Snow in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was a sweet spearmint with a good throw and lasting power.
-Angel Made Scents Goji Berry in the kitchen (2 cubes, tea light). A refreshing tart berry scent with good staying power and a nice medium throw.
-Streetman Candles Ice Cream Scoop Bread in the living room (tea light). A nice light ICSB scent. I liked it better in the cup than warm though.
-HHS Granmas Cake Batter Zucchini in the living room (24W hot plate). This was amazing! A super sweet gooey zuke bread blend. Really loving that one!
-Sassy Girl Aroma Serendipities Birthday in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). A good blend of birthday cake and serendipity. Throw was good but could have been stronger for my taste. Lasted most of the day though.
-CFTKR Eucalyptus & Thyme in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was such an awesome pure herbal scent cold but hot there was something about it I didn´t enjoy as much as I had expected. Maybe it was even too herbal (As in with an earthy note). It was strong and lasted all day long but it was somehow not refreshing enough.
-HHS Frosted Lime Cupcakes in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was great, super strong and long lasting. The lime cupcakes scent is gentler and not as sour as the typical key lime scent so I really enjoyed this.
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Vanilla Butter Cupcakes in the kitchen (tea light). I got nothing from this cold nor warm.
-Butterfly Lane Serendipity Marshmallow in the living room (tea light). This was good and about medium strong. Lasted through about 5-6 hours.
-Front Porch Buttercream Iced Orange Danish in the living room (24W hot plate). I love this scent! Anything from FP with buttercream or cupcake is amazing and this was no exception. The orange danish was mellowed out in a nice way but the orange bakery still came through. Amazing, long lasting and medium-full strength!
-LSC Lemon Custard Cookies in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a good creamy lemon bakery scent. It was pretty strong and lasted but overall there was nothing especially remarkable about this scent.
-LSC Peppermint Snow Cookies in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This scent was good, a sweet peppermint with a light bakery note. Strength was about medium with good lasting power.
-HHS Soft Blanket in the first floor (24W hot plate). Even though this doesn´t have much in common with the YC scent Soft Blanket (which is one of the only scents I keep buying from YC in candle form) it is a nice fresh scent, a delicate citrus laundry blend. Good throw and staying power, too!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Almond Macaroon (2 cubes) in the kitchen (tea light). This was a really weird but good scent..it was super strong...sort of like a cleanser with an almond scent? To me this had no bakery note whatsoever but as I said, more like a cleanser, shampoo or the likes. Super duper strong throw and lasted all the day (8 hour tea light).
-Happy Hippy Scents Serendipity Divine Joy in the living room (tea light). I believe Divine Joy is toasted marshmallow... this had a good throw however it did pull that vomit-y sour buttercream note I sometimes get usually from caramel or praline scents. I still somehow liked it and will try it again. The wax was total PITA to get out of my warmer when it was solid...even the freezer method didn´t work so I had to remelt it to remove it from my warmer and it had a really icky sticky texture.
-CFTKR OMG Cake in the living room (24W hot plate). I enjoyed this sweet cake scent. To me it had a raisin and slight cinnamon note but it was pretty strong and good. And I love the color =) Lasted through a good amount of hours and threw well.
-Front Porch Loopy Serendipity & Pink Sugar Marshmallow in the living room (24W hot plate). A good blend however the marshmallow and PS didn´t come through and the fruit loops note was the strongest one. Had good throw and staying power!
-Heavenleigh Apothecary Serendipitous in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This smelled so good in the cup but it did have next to no throw at all. so far I haven´t had the best luck with the wax from HA!
-CFTKR Fairy Garden in the first floor (24W hot plate). A really good citrus-floral blend. It´s a lovely choice for the spring. This was only about medium strong which is great with me as it probably would have cause a headache if it was stronger. Lasted through most of the day.
-The Bathing Garden Blue Raspberry Hearts in the kitchen (2 cubes, tea light). This is a refreshing blue raspberry scent (it has an almost menthol-y quality to it) layered over a sweet marshmallow. I wasn´t sure if I was going to like this but it was pretty good when warmed up.
Throw was medium and lasting power was good!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Simmering Ribbon Melt (bakery) in the living room (tea light). This is basically wax brittle made from whatever is left over when pouring the simmering melts. I got this bakery variety as a freebie last time and it was nice on cold sniff and pretty strong hot but most of GKC´s bakery scents have a weird undertone I just can´t stand. I can´t put my finger on it, maybe a slight perfume-y note or something. Anyway...not a favorite!
-HHS Granmas Toasted Marshmallow (2 tarts) in the living room (24W hot plate). First off the color was a bit weird for this scent lol but I felt it was a refreshing change from the usual white, pink and brown colors most zuke bread/marshmallow blends have...the throw was strong and the scent was amazing! A sweet fluffy creamy zucchini bread. Awesome! Lasting power was good, about 6-7 hours I´d say.
-Front Porch Mexican Fried Pink Ice Cream in the living room (24W hot plate, 2 tarts). I didn´t care too much for this on cold sniff (it has that weird buttery undertone that I don´t like) but it was really nice when warmed up. A sweet creamy scent with a hint of pink sugar.
I was so impressed with my first proper HHS haul I did back in December that I decided to place another large order some time ago. I think it took about 3-4 weeks to ship my stuff out but that´s ok for the quality one gets from Janet! My haul shipped out a week later than some other orders placed after me but it was due to the variety of shapes I got.
As my freebies (four 6-packs) I chose all in Granmas Serendipity and the 2 scent shots were samples.
-Heavenleigh Apothecary Girly Girl in the bedroom (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). This is a blend of Pink Sugar and buttercream..while it smelled really delicious it was a bit light for my taste as I could barely smell it. It might need more cure time though.
-HHS Toasted Iced Lemon Cookies in the first floor (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). This scent was sooo yummy however to my greatest surprise the throw was pretty light even though I used 2 pieces. A good sweet creamy lemon bakery scent but I wanted a stronger throw!
-Butterfly Lane Scents Marshmallow Latte in the kitchen (tea light). I really enjoyed this sweet creamy coffee scent. It had a good throw but didn´t last very long.
-CFTKR Baer Claw in the living room (24W hot plate). Carol´s Bear Claw scent is really good as there is less cinnamon in it than in other versions. You more get that flaky pastry scent. This was pretty strong and lasted through most of the day.
-Front Porch Pink Peaches (2 tarts, 24W hot plate) in the living room. A very sweet wonderful peach scent. This was really amazing however the throw was light-medium and the staying power was only so-so.
-Sniff My Tarts Peppermint Candies in the bedroom (1 tarts, 24W hot plate). This smelled like really strong pure peppermint to me. It did scent my bedroom nicely but after 5-6 hours the scent was pretty much fizzled out.
-CFTKR Crystal Sunshine in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was a good fruity slightly floral scent with a medium throw and and solid staying power (most of the day).
-TBG Raspberry Hearts in the kitchen (2 cubes, tea light). This is a blend of strawberry passion and raspberry white cake. I got mainly the raspberry which is TBG´s typical raspberry scent I really like. It was super sweet and strong and lasted through the whole 8-hour tea light.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Ice Cream Scoop Bread (both tarts) in the living room (tea light). A good sweet ICSB scent. I prefer this scent in blends (especially with Serendipity) as it tends to have a lighter throw on its own. I did enjoy this though!
-LSC Serendipity Scone in the living room (24W hot plate). This is a great creamy serendipity blend and I truly love it! I got a good throw and good staying power and I am happy that I have one more cup of this scent!
-HHS Granmas Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). Another great strong Serendipity blend. The toasted marshmallow added a nice creamy sweetness and the lasting power was great, too!
-FussAssMcGee Cucumber Mint in the bedroom (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). This was a good strong fresh scent...after a while the cucumber came out a bit more than I necessarily like but all i all a good relaxing scent with great throw!
-Heavenleigh Apothecary Easter Bunny Burps in the first floor (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). This is the standard Bunny Burps scent, a fresh green mix. It wasn´t really strong though so I didn´t get much out of this. To be fair I have to say this didn´t really get much cure time and it´s soy so it will probably get stronger.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Waffle Cone in the kitchen (both tarts, tealight). I really enjoyed this sweet lavender scent. It was about medium strong and lingered for a good while before it died down (after about 6 hours I´d say).
-TBG Apple Hearts (2 cubes) in the living room (tealight). I am really not a big fan of apple scents but this was such an awesome sweet scent! It smelled like a tart green apple with a very sweet topping of marshmallow and toffee. It had a good throw even without curing a long time so I bet it´ll be kick-butt after a few more weeks!
-HHS Granma´s Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies in the living room (1 big heart, 24W hot plate). I didn´t like this scent as the blackberry was kinda perfumey =( But the throw was really strong and long-lasting!
-CFTKR Pink Sugared Serendipity (2 squares) and Ice Cream Scoop Bread (2 slices) in the living room (24W hot plate). For some reason I could neither smell the serendipity part nor the ICSB..just pink sugar and it did cause a slight headache. The whole scent was overpowered by the HHS scent in addition. I love Carol´s Serendipity blends but not the Pink Sugared Serendipity as the PS is too strong for my taste.
-LSC Snow Globe in the bedroom (24W hot plate). A light but still prominent scent in my bedroom, it was sweet and really yummy (I think this has marshmallow in it). It lasted all day long and I really enjoyed it.
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Dryer Fresh in the first floor (24W hot plate). A fresh slightly floral scent but not bad enough to cause a headache lol. A nice medium strong scent all in all.
-SMT Raspberry Noel in the kitchen (tealight). This was really strong and it was great! I really enjoyed this scent a lot! I could smell it even upstairs for the full 8 hours the tealight lasted.
-HHS Granmas Mrs Claus Pink Noel in the living room (4 starts, 24W hot plate). I liked this blend, a nice sweet zucchini bread blend. Was about medium strong and lasted pretty well but I can´t exactly remember this particular tart very well.
-Front Porch Pink Cake Batter in the living room (24W hot plate). I put 2 tarts of this in my warmer and I wasn´t a fan of this scent. At first it smelled pretty good but after a while it pulled a strange undertone. And the pink sugar was very strong and perfumey.
-FussAssMcGee Sweet Dreams in the bedroom (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). A good laundry detergent/lavender scent. I really enjoyed this and it was pretty strong and lasted well through the day.
-CFTKR Chubba Dubba in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was a great sweet citrus scent with maybe a green note. It was medium strong and had mediocre staying power. Not the best from CFTKR but the scent was good.
-TBG Pirate Punch in the kitchen (2 cubes, tealight). I couldn´t smell this much but I got a whiff of this here and there. It was a fruity scent with a hint of maybe rum? Nothing I´d repurchase.
-HHS Granmas Pink Zucchini Bread (2 tarts, 24W hot plate) in the living room. The pink note was very strong and perfumey whereas the zuke bread didn´t come through well enough for my taste. It was ok but not my favorite blend.
-Front Porch Loopy Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). Awesome scent though a bit strong on the fruit loops. This threw really well and smelled amazing. Good lasting power, too! Love this!
-Streetman Candy Cane Lane in the bedroom (1 Snap Stick, 24W hot plate). This is a really good sweet peppermint scent, I even feel there is a bit spearmint in the mix. It was about medium strong and lasted a good 6-7 hours.
-The Bathing Garden Honeyed Toffee (3 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is TBG´s dupe of Lush´s Honey I Washed The Kids soap scent. It was good but it was very light considering it was TBG. Even Kim´s version used to be stronger. A bit of a disappointment.
-Pics, Petals & Scents Pastry Shop in the kitchen (tealight). I didn´t care for this scent at all. At first it had a very strong caramel apple note and when it started to fade it smelled like insecticide spray (like Raid and the likes). Was medium strong at first and I really disliked it.
-Front Porch Raspberry Filled Bread in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a really good fruity bread scent but it started pulling a perfumey note after a while. Overall nice and strong though!
-Haley´s Heavenly Scents Granmas Waffle Cone in the living room (24W hot plate). I really enjoyed this sweet crack bread blend. Crack bread aka Granmas Zucchini bread is just the best zuke bread out there. This was medium-strong and lasted very well.
Sorry if I am not that regular in the daily wax melts these days...I do melt every day but I am trying to use up some stuff (like clamshells with 2 cubes left, samples and the likes) and I am not keeping track of those.
-Front Porch Vanilla Noel in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a really nice sweet creamy vanilla caramel scent, very similar to the original from B&BW. Throw was good for my bedroom, I think for a bigger room it might be too soft. All in all an awesome bedroom scent!
-K´s Kreations Green Tea & Lemongrass in the first floor (24W hot plate, 3 gingerbread men). I liked this fresh herbal tea scent a lot but it was a just about light-medium strength. Will use 4 tarts next time to have a better throw.
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Café Orange Latte in the kitchen (tealight). This was really gross and I poured it out within 15 minutes. It smelled like a nutty popcorn or something. No orange? No coffee? Yuck and double yuck!
-Haley´s Heavenly Scents Granmas Iced Lemon Biscotti in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). Pure bliss! Awesome and amazing! lol! Sweet lemon bakery scent paired with granmas zuke bread, super strong and lasted all day. Love it!
-JLCCW Coffee Cake & Spice in the living room (24W hot plate). This was totally fantastic as well! I am not into spice as you might know but this sweet cinnamon bakery scent was just divine. There is no coffee note in this btw, just super strong sweet cinnamon cake. Lasted till the end and was a super strong thrower.
So far I only ordered once from HHS back in summer and I was very impressed with the products (got a few clamshells). I had 2 shallow reasons for not ordering for quite a while though: The TAT (2-3 weeks which nowadays could be considered pretty quick with other vendors´s TATs going up drastically) and the missing labels (as in vendor name and/or logo labels). Stupid, I know!
Anyway, since I started getting addicted tob Serendipity blends I decided to place a huge order with HHS back in December. I got my order in the middle of January which brought the TAT to about 3 weeks which is quite good.
I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY with my stuff. The scents are amazing and strong, EVERY SINGLE ONE! (Sorry for the caps lol). The Granmas Zucchini Bread blends (aka crack bread) are awesome and I just can´t stop melting my stuff (you didn´t see as many in my daily melts as I actually melted as I didn´t post some melt days and sometimes I change out melters and don´t take pics of those either). Anyway, I just placed another order and can´t wait to get it soon!
Definitely one of my favorite orders I placed so far from any vendor.
