Daily wax melts October 28th 2012

As I mentioned before I was sick on 27th so except for TBG Breathe Deeply I didn´t have anything going as I was nauseous and couldn´t have taken any kind of scent away from something strong fresh like menthol lol

-Shayz Minty Pink (2 tarts) in my bedroom (24W hot plate). This was my last attempt of making Shayz work for me and it just didn´t work lol. I could smell this but it was light and non-descript especially considering I used 2 tarts! So yea, Shayz is gone from my stash and won´t see light again any time soon lol.

-The Bathing Garden Jack Frost (2 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). What a cute little snowman! This smells like a sweet peppermint and I really love this! It had a good throw and lasted all day long. I know this is a quite common scent among vendors but the way Shannon did it is awesome as always. 

-Long Cane Primitives Mexican Fried Ice Cream in my kitchen (tealight). Since I am cleaning out my stash these days I thought of trying LCP again as I was pondering if I should remove their products from my stash or keep the last tarts I have. I could barely smell anything in the package and I could smell nothing at all when it melted. In conclusion I am also getting rid of all LCP as I have no luck with this brand!

-Rosegirls Zucchini Bread Banana Cake in my living room (24W hot plate). Seems today was a last-chance-day lol. I already had put everything from RG away but was craving a banana scent (which happens really rarely) so I dug this back out. Smelled yummy cold, I used a whole huge chunk and got absolutely no scent out whatsoever. Back into the destash box it went and yes, no more RG for me!!

-CFTKR Zucchini Fluff (2 slices) in my living room (24W hot plate). This and the tart from TBG were the two that had to scent my house as I had pretty much 3 duds going on lol. This zucchini fluff scent did not disappoint. I could smell the sweetness from the fluffy marshmallow together with the creamy zucchini bread. I love this scent! And it was going strong most of the day long, too!

Daily wax melts September 10th 2012

First day of school! Yay, I love when the kids are back on track =)

-Long Cane Primitives Blueberry Zucchini Bread in my 20W warmer in the 1st floor. This was extremely subtle and weak =( i could hardly smell anything!

-Country Home Scent Zucchini Bread. in a tealight warmer in the kitchen. I didn't get much of a scent out of this. I think CHS tarts will be better to melt in smaller spaces.

-Lasting Scent Candles Lavender Confections in my 24W hot plate warmer in the living room. This is a staple for me. A wonderful soft sweet creamy lavender scent. This is in no way herbal. Scent throw is good on this but this is not a strong scent as default if you get what I mean. Love it!!

Daily wax melts August 30th 2012

30th of August was a very sad day for me as one of my bunnies died in the evening. She had been ill for a while and her death wasn't unexpected but all the same we were very devastated.
During the day I had my warmers on with the following scents:

-Sweet Fixations Sweet Dreams in a tealight warmer in the 1st floor. I don't remember this scent being strong at all so like most SF this wasn't so for me.

-Long Cane Primitives Lemon Pound Cake in a tealight warmer in the kitchen. A nice fairly strong lemon bakery scent. Was good and strong enough.

-Lasting Scent Candles Berry Custard Pie on a 24W hot plate in the living room. As one can expect from LSC this was a super strong and yummy scent. Smelled very authentic of a creamy pie with tart fresh berries. Great fall scent!

Daily wax melts August 24th 2012

The weather is finally turning a bit cooler and autumnal here so I melted something else than the super fresh scents of the past days.

-Long Cane Primitives Peppermint Patty in a tealight warmer in the 1st floor. A nice fresh sweet peppermint scent with a good throw.

-Ye Olde Candle Cubbard Pink Sugar Noel in a tealight warmer in the kitchen. This smelled really good and strong cold but was a bit disappointing hot. I think in a smaller closed room (my kitchen is huge and open) this would perform better. The scent itself is awesome, a blend if pink sugar and vanilla bean noel.

-FussAssMcGee Blueberry Meringue Torte in a 20W hot plate in my living room. I had to use 3 cubes in order to get a decent throw and it's a nice scent. I didn't really get a bakery note but rather a fresh fruity lemon/blueberry blend.

Another hot day here today so I was in the mood for orange!

I am melting:
-Long Cane Primitives grubby tart in Pineapple Orchid in the 1st floor in a Yankee tealight warmer. A strong fresh pineapple blend. It's not really floral but the orchid adds a special touch. A really good summer scent!

-Country Home Scent Orange Blossom in a Yankee tealight warmer in my kitchen. It's medium strong and smells like sweet oranges with a twist. Not my favorite orange scent but CHS is always good anyway.

-Front Porch Lemon Orange Pastry in a 17W hot plate in my living room. As always a super strong awesome scent. A creamy citrus scent with buttery bakery notes. No spices in this at all. Divine!
