-TBG Peppermint Bubbles in the bedroom (24W hot plate, 2 cubes). This was a very light sweet minty scent. I wish the throw was stronger but it was really subtle.
-CFTKR Pina Colada in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is a good light-medium scent...a blend of pineapple and coconut however it has a certain note to it that I don´t like. Overall not a fave.
-HHS Granmas Zucchini in the kitchen (tea light). An awesome scent...a very creamy rich zucchini bread. I prefer it in blends but it´s great on its own nonetheless. It gave a good medium throw and lasted well through 5-6 hours.
-TBG Pistachio Cream Egg in the living room (2 cubes, tea light). This is the pistachio coconut fluff scent some vendors carry and it´s one of my favorite scents out there. However it is so strong (from any vendor) that it gives a slightly bitter taste (!!!) to the air. Super strong and long-lasting!
-JLCCW Serendipity Sugar Cookie Dough (2 pcs, 24W hot plate). Sweet crispy cookies and serendipity mingle ever so delightfully in this blend I came up with. It was awesome, strong and long-lasting. JLCCW is awesome but it is impossible to place any orders with her right now as she´s swamped until at least July =( Good that I still have a fair amount of her tarts here!
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Birthday Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). As always a fantastic blend with a strong throw and great lasting power. I am really sad Lil´Kitchen Candles closed for good but oh well =(
-Ollie´s Soaps Eucalyptus Spearmint in the bedroom (2 chill pills, 24W hot plate). A good standard cologne-y bedroom scent. Had a good strong throw and good lasting power!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Windowpane in the first floor (24W hot plate). I can´t remember this scent at all. I do believe it was very light and unremarkable
-The Bathing Garden Apple Hearts in the kitchen (tea light). I just love this scent, it´s awesome! Tart green apple with a super sweet caramel and marshmallow or something along those lines. I normally can´t do apple but I love this blend! Strong throw, awesome staying power!
-IHeartwax Strawberry Serendipity in the living room (tea light). Another amazing blend from IHeartWax. I am not a strawberry person for the most part but this scent was great, threw well and lasted through a whole 8-hour tealight.
-BSF Blueberry Zucchini Bread in the living room (24W hot plate). I love my BSF loaves. They are made of a harder wax but with a soap cutter these are a breeze to cut. I sliced of a nice sliver and the scent was fantastic. Did I mention I don´t usually dig blueberry scents too much either? Haha! This was great and strong and I am happy I got that whole loaf!
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Waffle Cone Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a very sweet scent I really enjoyed. For the size of the cookie the throw could´ve been a bit better though.
LKC closed her shop for good due to health problems of her kids. I am really sorry that we can´t purchase her beautiful wax anymore but I still have a big stash to hold me over for a long time (especially those loaves!). I wish her all the best for her future endeavors!
I am so terribly behind on posting =( I have been so busy the past weeks it´s unbelievable!
Anyway, here is my latest Lil´Kitchen Candles haul from her last reopening before end of April (?). I think I placed this order early in March or late February and it arrived pretty quickly (within 7-10 days at the most). She had quite a few label mix-ups (3) and I am not sure whether the scent blends are actually correct or just wrongly labeled. Since everything smells great I didn´t complain to her regarding this issue but she should double-check her labels before she sends out her products as I have seen other people mentioning that labeling problem as well.
-Heavenleigh Apothecary Lavender Silk in the bedroom (24W hot plate). One of my favorite lavender scents. It´s such an awesome balance of sweet yet herbal mixed with a creamy note. It was strong and lasted all day long.
-Ollie´s Soaps Raspberry Lemonade in the first floor (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). A good tart lemon with sweet raspberries. This was not that strong though, about light-medium I´d say.
-Scentsationals Santa´s Sugar Cookies in the kitchen (2 cubes, tea light). This was soo good as it smelled exactly like the cupcake and frosted sugar cookie scents from Scentsationals. Had a good throw and lasted really well.
-Happy Hippy Scents Free Bird Serendipity in the living room (tea light). Free Bird is Pink Funnel Cake and this one was a yummy one (none of those cinnamon-strong ones even though I like those as well), very creamy and it blended nicely with the serendipity. The throw however was a bit weak but I could only use a spoon full as I used a small tea light warmer.
-Sassy Girl Aroma Loopy Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate, 2 tarts). A good blend of serendipity and fruit loops. To my delight this is rather balanced without the fruit loops overtaking the scent. It was medium strong and lasted really well.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles 16 Candles in the living room (24W hot plate, 8 hearts). This sweet blend of birthday cake (with something sweet...maybe cotton candy?) was really good but not that strong (medium I´d say). It lasted about 6-7 hours which was pretty good.

-HHS Jack Frost in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a good fresh peppermint scent with good throw and lasting power.
-CFTKR Farmhouse Treats in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is a mix of all things being prepared in a farmhouse kitchen (bread, cookies, jam, jelly etc.). This was an extremely light scent with a very weak throw. What I could smell was just a sweet scent without any dominant bakery notes. I somehow liked this but I would want it way stronger!
-Granny´s Kountry Candles Orange Chiffon Cake in the kitchen (tea light). This had a very light throw and it was such a normal boring orange bakery scent anyway.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Sugar Cookie Dough Bread and Serendipity Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). This was a good combination, a sweet bakery with a hint of serendipity. It was medium-strong and stayed really well.
-Front Porch Buttercream Drizzled Bread and Marshmallow Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). Another good blend...a creamy soft serendipity scent with a good throw and decent staying power.
-JLCCW Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (tea light). I used one cupcake and it gave off a light-medium throw. This is a very sweet serendipity but it´s not my fave from JLCCW.
-Streetman Candles Vanilla Bean Noel in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This is one of the best VBN scents in my opinion. while I am otherwise not really a big fan of Streetman this scent is really nice. It has a light-medium throw and lasts through most of the day usually.
-Pics, Petals & Scents White Tea & Ginger in the first floor (24W hot plate). This is different from other WT&G scents as it definitely has a slightly spicy note. It is good nonetheless but I prefer the B&BW version which e.g. HHS carries. This threw nicely strong all day long!
-CFTKR Crunch Berry Crisp in the kitchen (tea light). I normally don´t use CFTKR in tea light warmers but actually they perform pretty nicely that way. This was a strong sweet berry scent. I didn´t get much of the bakery note but it was a nice scent all in all.
-Beaux Savons Frais Pink Bread in the living room (tea light). I got a bit of a pink sugar note with zucchini bread. This wasn´t really strong but I think BSF does better in a hot plate.
-Sassy Girl Aroma Birthday Bread in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). This was a good scent, I got mainly the rich birthday cake and it was about medium strong. Lasted through most of the day.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Waffle Cone Zucchini (about 8 hearts) in the living room (24W hot plate). I really enjoyed this scent, it was that sweet waffle cone with creamy zucchini bread. About medium-strong and with good lasting power.
-Butterfly Lane Scents Peppermint Marshmallow in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was really sweet with very little mintbut the throw was not really that impressive. I used quite a few slivers and I could not get a scent.
-La Dolce Vita Lavender Sage in the first floor (4 cubes, 24W hot plate). Another great fresh herbal scent from La Dolce Vita. Had a good throw and stayed all day long.
-The Bathing Garden Secret Garden (2 cubes) in the kitchen (tea light). This was an überstrong green apple scent. It supposedly has mint but I can´t really detect that. It made me nauseous so I had to pour it out after a short while. I won´t be melting this again.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles 16 Candles in the living room (tea light). A blend of birthday cake and something sweet (maybe cotton candy or frosting?). I used 3 hearts and got a nice light-medium throw from this.
-Front Porch Lemon Bread in the living room (1 loaf, 24W hot plate). I barely could smell anything which is a huge disappointment. FP usually is a solid strong quality tart maker but this particular scent had almost no throw.
-Sassy Girl Aroma Lemon Cookie Bread in the living room (24W hot plate). I used the whole huge chunk and got a medium throw from this. It smelled really good but I would have preferred a stronger throw.
-The Bathing Garden Frozen Hearts (2 cubes, 24W hot plate) in the bedroom. This was a light minty scent with a sweet note. I did like this but the throw was very light and overall it was rather meh.
-La Dolce Vita Spearmint Eucalyptus (last 4 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). I really enjoyed this crisp herbal scent of this tarts. The throw was good and the staying power as well.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Ice Cream Scoop Bread in the kitchen (both tarts, tea light). This was really good, a very sweet ICSB scent with good throw and lasting power.
-JLCCW Serendipity Jaimie in the living room (tea light). This is a very sweet Serendipity blend however the throw in the tea light warmer wasn´t really the greatest...IMO these do better in a 24W hot plate.
-HHS Serendipity Noel in the living room (24W hot plate). One of my favorite Serendipity blends. It´s sweet and creamy and gave a good throw using 2 of those humongous tarts =)
-CFTKR Sugar Milk and Cookies in the living room (2 tarts, 24W hot plate). This was another awesome scent. A sweet cookie with the sweet milk scent from CFTKR. This had a strong throw and great staying power!
March already! Yay! January and February are possibly my least fave months (together with July, it´s just too hot!)... so I am happy they´re over!
-TBG Jack Frost (2 cubes, 24W hot plate) in the bedroom. One of my favorite sweet peppermint scents, the TBG version is very strong and lasts all day long! Awesome!
- TBG Cinderella Would Be Jealous in the first floor (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). This is TBG´s version of the Lush Snowcake scent. A great sweet almond frosting scent with a slightly perfumey note. This had medium strength and good staying power.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Lemon Lush Noel in the kitchen (tea light). An awesome sweet lemon bakery scent I truly enjoyed. Had a good throw and lasted well through a tealight (8 hours).
-Beaux Savons Frais Serendipity in the living room (tea light). A good basic serendipity scent with good throw and lasting power.
-Front Porch Scoopable Wax in Pink Serendipity and Zucchini Bread Cupcakes in the living room (24W hot plate). While this isn´t exactly soft wax I had no problem scooping out the wax at all. I just took a metal spoon and it was pretty easy. I think once you start digging in the jar it get even easier as the risk of spreading wax crumbles around is getting lower the more wax you have used up. Awesome combination! The serendipity and the creamy buttery zuke bread cupcakes just mix so well together! The throw was strong and lasted all day long.
-Front Porch Caramel Vanilla Buttercream Cupcakes brittle in the living room (about 3-4 slices) in the living room (24W hot plate). This is probably one of my top favorite scents from FP. It is soooooooooo yummy!! This is one of the first caramel scents I actually enjoy! The thick decadent buttercream scent just blends in perfectly! Awesome! Strong throw and great lasting power..I am so glad I got a big bag of brittle in this!
-Sniff My Tarts Peppermint Candies in the bedroom (1 tarts, 24W hot plate). This smelled like really strong pure peppermint to me. It did scent my bedroom nicely but after 5-6 hours the scent was pretty much fizzled out.
-CFTKR Crystal Sunshine in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was a good fruity slightly floral scent with a medium throw and and solid staying power (most of the day).
-TBG Raspberry Hearts in the kitchen (2 cubes, tea light). This is a blend of strawberry passion and raspberry white cake. I got mainly the raspberry which is TBG´s typical raspberry scent I really like. It was super sweet and strong and lasted through the whole 8-hour tea light.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Ice Cream Scoop Bread (both tarts) in the living room (tea light). A good sweet ICSB scent. I prefer this scent in blends (especially with Serendipity) as it tends to have a lighter throw on its own. I did enjoy this though!
-LSC Serendipity Scone in the living room (24W hot plate). This is a great creamy serendipity blend and I truly love it! I got a good throw and good staying power and I am happy that I have one more cup of this scent!
-HHS Granmas Serendipity in the living room (24W hot plate). Another great strong Serendipity blend. The toasted marshmallow added a nice creamy sweetness and the lasting power was great, too!
-FussAssMcGee Cucumber Mint in the bedroom (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). This was a good strong fresh scent...after a while the cucumber came out a bit more than I necessarily like but all i all a good relaxing scent with great throw!
-Heavenleigh Apothecary Easter Bunny Burps in the first floor (2 cubes, 24W hot plate). This is the standard Bunny Burps scent, a fresh green mix. It wasn´t really strong though so I didn´t get much out of this. To be fair I have to say this didn´t really get much cure time and it´s soy so it will probably get stronger.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Waffle Cone in the kitchen (both tarts, tealight). I really enjoyed this sweet lavender scent. It was about medium strong and lingered for a good while before it died down (after about 6 hours I´d say).
-TBG Apple Hearts (2 cubes) in the living room (tealight). I am really not a big fan of apple scents but this was such an awesome sweet scent! It smelled like a tart green apple with a very sweet topping of marshmallow and toffee. It had a good throw even without curing a long time so I bet it´ll be kick-butt after a few more weeks!
-HHS Granma´s Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies in the living room (1 big heart, 24W hot plate). I didn´t like this scent as the blackberry was kinda perfumey =( But the throw was really strong and long-lasting!
-CFTKR Pink Sugared Serendipity (2 squares) and Ice Cream Scoop Bread (2 slices) in the living room (24W hot plate). For some reason I could neither smell the serendipity part nor the ICSB..just pink sugar and it did cause a slight headache. The whole scent was overpowered by the HHS scent in addition. I love Carol´s Serendipity blends but not the Pink Sugared Serendipity as the PS is too strong for my taste.
Lil´Kitchen Candles (LKC) has made it into my top vendors list as her products generally perform nicely, smell awesome and are really cute!
She restocks her shop periodically after announcing it on her facebook group and usually you have to grab her stuff within the first couple of minutes or else the most sought after products will be gone. I generally score what I want nowadays and here is one of my latest hauls. I have another haul that will be delivered in a few days (my biggest to date).
Here´s what I got and everything smells fantastic!
-Lasting Scent Candles Cozy Comforter in the bedroom (24W hot plate). This was a weird scent, it was on the one hand some kind of fresh laundry detergent scent but it also had a powdery and a floral note. It was really strong and lasted all day long but when I went to the bedroom to sleep at night it did cause a headache so I poured it out and replaced it with something fresh. Not a fan but not that bad either.
-The Bathing Garden Pixie Dust (2 cubes) in the first floor (24W hot plate). This was super duper strong, a very green fresh citrus-based scent. Amazing and I really enjoyed it but it was almost too strong, might use only 1 cube next time!
-Scentsationals Cupcake in the kitchen (2 cubes, tealight). I really loved this scent, it smells a lot like the usual birthday cake scent many vendors carry. It was not as strong as I am used to from Scentsationals but it was an amazing scent.
-Lil´Kitchen Candles Birthday Serendipity (6 little hearts) in the living room (24W hot plate). AMAZING, awesome, just wonderful stuff. It was about medium strong and lasted through a good amount of hours (6-7 perhaps). I think after curing for longer (this was poured just about 10 days or so ago) this will be even stronger!
-Front Porch Angie´s Famous Cupcakes (2 tarts) and Serendipity (4 heart tarts) in the living room (24W hot plate). This was an amazing mix! The cupcake scent was similar to my beloved birthday cake scent as it was rich and creamy and the serendipity worked perfectly with it! Loved this strong and long-lasting combo!!
Lil´ Kitchen Candles has become one of my favorite vendor, especially for her Serendipity blends. I placed 2 orders in her past 2 re-openings. I was a bit late for the first time around so I only scored a couple of items but I did better in the 2nd one (I was the first order placed lol...will post about it soon).
I got 3 monster clamshells and a loaf (so pretty!) and even got a few extra scent shots. Everything smells absolutely AMAZING =D
